Mango Sorbet

Seriously, what is better on a sunny, hot summer day than a melt in your mouth, cool you down, jazz up your taste buds and simply refreshing dish of mango sorbet? Yes, that's what I thought: nothing. With a slight hint of lime, this mango sorbet is the ultimate mango dessert and on the same note, is ultimately amazing. Try it out for your next unbearable heat wave- satisfaction guaranteed.

Mango Sorbet

1 pound bag of frozen mango
1/2 cup sugar
zest & juice of one lime

Empty the bag of frozen mango in a large bowl and combine with sugar, zest and juice of the lime. Cover with saran wrap and let sit in the fridge overnight or at least 6-8 hours. Then, transfer the mango mixture to a blender and process until smooth.* Transfer puree to an ice cream maker and follow the normal directions.

*I actually left some slight chunks in mine, it made for a fantastic texture, but smooth is always delicious as well
